Privacy policy

We process personal data when you book a table, contact us or join our loyalty club. We only use it for these purposes, send news by email only to club members and never sell your data.

When you book a table using the form on our website, we process your name, phone number, email, date and time, number of guests and any note you add. We may send a booking confirmation to your email.

We need this information to book your table and to contact you if necessary, for example if something changes. The legal basis is the performance of a contract and steps taken at your request before entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

An online booking cannot be made without a name, phone number and email. You can also book a table by phone.

Bookings and payments for events are handled directly in the Guestplan reservation system, which the button next to the event takes you to. We process the data you enter there in the same way as table bookings.

Registration and membership of the Srdcaři Srdcovky loyalty club are handled on the Septim platform (srdcovkausti.septim.cz). We process the details you enter when signing up and the information needed to provide discounts and benefits. The legal basis is the performance of the membership terms (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); we send news by email with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

When you call or write to us, we only use your details to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with our guests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you consent in the cookie banner, we measure website traffic with Google Analytics 4 provided by Google Ireland Ltd. This tells us, in aggregate, which pages guests visit and where they come from. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. Data may be transferred to the USA, where Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings” in the website footer.

We are supported by the following providers, who may only process the data according to our instructions:

• Guestplan – the reservation system in which bookings are stored.
• Septim – the platform for our Srdcaři Srdcovky loyalty club.
• Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and security. Data from the booking form passes through its servers to the reservation system. Cloudflare may also process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

• We keep bookings in the Guestplan system for as long as necessary to handle the booking and keep a record of visits, but no longer than 2 years after the booking date.
• An auxiliary copy of the booking in the connection between our website and the reservation system is deleted automatically no later than 7 days after the booking date.
• We keep loyalty club members’ data for the duration of their membership.
• Messages and emails are only kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, data portability and the right to object. Just write to us or give us a call – we’ll gladly cancel your booking and delete your data.

If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (.uoou.gov.cz)
